For years I was involved in the stunt business driving fast cars, and dodging bullets.  It wasn't your typical job, but I enjoyed the excitement and the intensity.

In 2002 I had a life changing experience.  I was a victim of identity theft.  I had a hard time trying to understand why, how, and where do I go from here? 

After weeks of research I was able to get myself out of what seemed to be one of the worst experiences of my life.  I realized that there was a lot more to credit and money that I knew about.  If you don't have good credit  it is extremely difficult to obtain credit.  Throughout this time I discovered and fell in love with the real estate market.  I decided to become a mortgage broker because of my love for homes and my new found knowledge of credit.

Helping countless families and individuals achieve their dreams of homeownership has brought me great joy.  Using my open book approach has led me to build everlasting, honest, and respectful relationships with my clients.  I am very excited to meet you!  Welcome to MImoney.ca! 

Save your money!!  Those are the three words my parents always told me as I was  growing up.  Being a first generation Canadian citizen I was brought up in the "old school" ways of my parents Grenadian background mixed with the "new school" ways of my Canadian environment.  This upbringing translated into my philosophy today as a financial advisor, common sense coupled with financial facts will bring you a long way!

A little personal history about myself is I was born and raised in Scarborough, ON.  I loved sports and excelled in Track and Field.  I landed a full scholarship to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).  I graduated with degrees in Business and American Literature.  I was always a fan of music and was involved in one of Canada's premier music groups BrassMunk.  For several years we dominated the charts, toured, and got nominated for several awards including the Juno.  We never did win a Juno though, but we should've.  I'm a proud husband and father of two who enjoys traveling, collecting comic books, and going for nice long walks.

I chose the career as a financial advisor because of the simple fact that I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and genuinely enjoy helping people out.  Let's face it; money is a fact of life and we just can't escape the power that it holds so it makes sense to have your finances in order as much as possible.
